I have no interest in water cooling. The only thing I would like to do is maybe overclock the CPU when I play games.
Let's be realistic... I upgraded from a AIW9600. I even have 2gb Cruical Ballistix still in the box.
The fan definately isn't annoying.... I can't hear it over the stock AMD 3800 fan in my p150 case when it is slow. When it kicks in I just notice a slight change in volume.
I had to move my office to the sitting area off my bedroom to create a nursery for my son. Otherwise I wouldn't...
What can I say I am at a loss for words. I ran 3d mark 05 before and after, 2000 vs 9995.
I have a ASRock Dual Sata MB so I have both cards running on it so I can watch TV, but that isn't working right now. I did it with another video card so I am sure I can get it to work again...
I have the conclusion, in case someone wants it.
Just when we had thought that the battle for high-end graphics supremacy has reached an unofficial ceasefire with NVIDIA seemingly winning over the enthusiasts with both performance (the 'SLI-in-a-card' GeForce 7950 GX2) and mostly better...
I meant what I said. The preview said it would be released in Aug with Vista. But I should have been clearer in my message.
I don't know if the item is still going to be release in Q3 or if they will delay with Vista. I think they made it sound as if Vista was a requirement. Which this...
The one I have at work is a Samsung. I got it about 2 weeks ago. I think it looks great but I can only compare it to some older screens and the 2001fp I have at home. I will check the 2007fp I have at home too. That one is 3 weeks old, but looks the same.
I have an AIW and it works like a cable ready TV from the 80's. Any digital features or chanels are not going to work. You can hook up a cable box to the the card and that will work. Of course you can FF and RW so maybe it is better to say it works like a first gen TIVO.
A while back I saw...
For fun I checked Techdata, a wholesaler, for the E6600. They part they have is BX80557e6600 at my price of 332.74. No retail price listed. I normally am about 10% off of retail becuase I sell so little. The earliest ETA date they have is 8/27.
I am guessing Intel raised the price a...
I have a 2001fp and just got a 2007fp to sit next to it. The 2007fp is much brighter and I had to turn it down a ton just to have it somewhat match to 2001fp. I just used the monitor's adjustments.
I haven't hunted down dead pixels. I know on the 2001fp I have a couple. It was alarming...
They just announced it today.

I had the same issue with a AIW 9600 Pro. I did everything that you have done or was suggested to you and couldn't find a solution. I even tried a better case and power supply. I finally just gave up and bought a new MB and processor and rebuilt the box. No problems since.
Do you have a...
The supplier is TechData. Right now the only three I listed are the only x1900 in the system. That doesn't mean there won't be an XL or AIW. It just means these are not in the system yet. Of course they need to be in the system before they can be ordered from the vendor.
For the record...
Actually these are very real prices. I can order one at these prices and it will ship as soon as it is in stock.
I forget I can get MSRP by clicking on the item:
x1900 xt $549
x1900 xtx $649
x1900 crossfire $599

I need a sig.....
Well the Egg has a retail x1800 xt for $559 with a $50 rebate or OEM for $509 no rebate. Either way about 10% cheaper than my cost. I resell enough to get good pricing.
Historically, you can buy online for about 10% less than my cost. YMMV.
I checked a distributor's website to see if any x1900 video cards were loaded into the system... They have 3.
x1900 xt at $515
x1900 xtx at $609
x1900 crossfire at $562
No stock, Nothing showing on order, No specs except 512mb. It does show UPC and Manufacturer numbers...

I have the ASRock board with the ULI 1695 chip with both AGP and PCIE. My video card is a AIW 9600xt, I love the TV function with dual monitors but I needed something faster for games. Just to check out my options I stuck a PCIE x300 card it. That worked flawlessly. I could watch tv on any...
