haha yea, i have enough units before i drop out to transfer to a State but this is when things get complicated. Tuition is ridiculously high and i won't be able to find classes after working hours lol

I'm doing accountant/purchasing at a small tech company, i work 9-5 and i mention previously i can take classes after that but at the same time i don't know what profession to pursue. It would be nice to do something fast and profitable lol

nope, i' havne't really run stock clocked at all. the mobo was purchased at the same time as the chip as i know the chip potential so i clock it up from the beginning.

Okay so i've clock my opt146 up to 2.8 on stock volt. I ran prime test for 48 hours plus and no error. But once in a while when i boot up my comp, it won't post and if i turn the power off and boot it again everything got reset to default in order to run. Anyone has issue with this. I mean...

Problems OCing my Opty <-Problems Solved now check out my OC

omg i'm having the same problem. ANd the ididot thing was it was running at 2.8 before and one day when i turn up, it got reset to default and i dont know the rumbers to run it back. And now if it is past 2.2, there is a like a registry error btw, mine is the 146

not only cpu z, but when i go to window properties it also list at 2.0. but in bios it was saved at 2.8, i went back several times to check if it was saved in or not. i know that it shoudl run fine as it have run it like that for the past week or so. Weird problem

it saved, when it boots up i saw that it was clock at 2.8 then i have this program that comes in my mobo box that i've installed that reads it at 280x10 but comes out to 2.0ghz. it's really weird, and that frustrated me. it worked fine all this time but now it doesn't.

So i have 2x512mb of mushkin cas 2.5 rams on my computer. I've oc the cpu and it runs great. I spotted this great deal on 2x1gb rams cas 3 and want to purchase it. Can i run 2x512mb of mushkins ram along with the other 2gb ram of differnt brand?
