Yep, 1.7v I also hve the cpu at 1.7v (HWM reads as 1.65 or 1.68), DDR is @ 2.7v. Memtest86+ will freeze at 37%. I have a Truepower 430w. Maybe I need to up that puppy to TP500+. Noid, I just noticed you have your RAM voltage at 2.8v, how did you do this? I'm using the latest bios...

Just got R9800 Pro, do I need to reformat?

I agree, I did not format when I upgraded my Ti4200 to my 9600XT. I haven't had any problems, and all my games etc., run smooth. If I were changing motherboards then I would do a clean install, but not for a video card.

radeon 9600 pro or xt?

Also according to that review, the X800 XT did only 7fps better then the 9800 XT @ 1024x768 PS and 12fps better then the 9800 XT @ 1280x1024 PS and only 13fps @ 1600x1200 PS. That review also suggest, that nvidia cards wont work with KOTOR. :roll: Oh, I also forgot to add that KOTOR runs ok on...

Lonyo, That is what I understood also. I still have a copy of the EULA on CD just in case this topic ever came up. Their license does not state anything about not being able to use their software with any other dirve, it only states you are licensed to use it if bought with CD/DVD hardware...

Primary reason for HL2 delay was not Source leak. Foul play by ATi and Gabe?!

How can anyone even suggest ATi was a fault here? The only way I see ATi having any fault was for not having Valve commit to an actual release date before allowing Valve to use their name (which is what Valve did). I think if ATi knew this they would have been more reluctant to promote HL2 so...

What the hell is the "Windows 2000/XP refresh rate problem"?

I use DXDIAG (for DX), and the Catalyst 4.4 driver/software (for DX&OGL) to override the refresh rate. Even NV driver/software has an override option. I don't see the need for third party software.

Yeah that's funny because when I do the same it finds nothing. Yet it shows WINNT32.exe in the registry. Well, like amdskip said it was probably some type of spyware like that Isearch toolbar, which my wife accidentally installed.

Man, this is crazy. Msconfig showed that WINNT32.exe was in the startup, the registry also confirmed this. Anyway after shutting it off (unchecking it in Msconfig), my computer no longer boots opens my user folder upon booting up. So it's fixed, but now I'm wonder why it did this to begin...
