    Ok. From what I've read over the Asus forums 1009 does more harm than good. I was quite hesitant to upgrade from 0506 to 1009. So I opted for the best choice (IMO) was 0903. I haven't heard any problems with 903, so I figure it should be a win/win situation. Not saying 1009 will but out on you...

    Yes. ViRGE is correct. There's a new driver that is susposed to fix this problem. My X-Fi card didn't give me this problem, but I updated my driver anyways.

    Yeah, Atacom is cool for local pickups. But they suck for customer service, and they suck some more for restocking fees.

    The bios install went in great. Used Afudos(refer to you user manual).

    So far from what I've read on the Asus forums, the 903 is the most stable. I'm currently running 0508, but when I get home tonight, I'll try and upload 0903.

    I'm having trouble updating my bios. I've used Nero to make a boot cd. So far, all I came across was 3 coasters. It reads the disc, and it seems to load. After it says "complete", I check to see... and I'm still on the same bios. Can the bios only be updated via floppy? Thanks. PS: I...

    In between the PCI-E cards, I have an Omni Vision HDTV card. Below the second PCI-E slot, I have my X-FI platnium card. Haven't had any problems thus far.

    Ok. So I called asus about my missing "optional fan" and they sent me a chipset fan that you would see on an A8N Sli mobo. The RMA lady said to install it at a 45 degree angle. She didn't list down a part#, but she did list "A8N32 SLI" on the invoice. Weird.

    Ok. I don't think the Ebay seller is wrong. Just a bit misinformed. There is a Rev. 1.01 and 1.02. The ".02" probably was confused with 2.0. Make sense now?

    Rev 1.01 here also. The mobo I bought from frys didn't come with the optional cooling fan(missing?). I called Asus RMA support, and they said they'll send one over in 2-3 working days. Awesome!
