PIII-EB + PC100 or PIII+PC133?

My Tyan Trinity 400 has a PIII and PC100 memory. Can I upgrade to a PIII-EB and still use PC100 ram or do I need to upgrade ram to PC133? On the other hand, can I keep my PIII and use PC133 ram? My concern is either one of these combinations may cause a timeout or lag if they are not running...

Windows 2000 and Tyan Trinity 400

When powering up my computer, the OS loading always hangs. Upon reboot, everything loads fine. Subsequent reboots while the power is on all work fine, its just the initial startup that has the problem. All the latest VIA drivers are loaded (from VIA and Microsoft), plus SP1. Anybody have a...

Tyan Trinity 400 owners

Is there any type of BIOS or Windows monitoring software that will display the cpu temp and fan speeds for the Trinity 400? I'm used to seeing this on my Abit BH6 system and was a little surprised not seeing this information with the T400.

Latest VIA 4in1 ??

Looking back on some of the older threads concerning VIA drivers, it seemed that everybody suggested avoiding v4.20 and sticking with v4.17. So now the latest version (4.24 and/or 4.25) is the one to go with? All the problems that everyone was bringing up for 4.20 and 4.21 are ironed out?

cooling a Q500 case

Kly1222, thanks for including a picture...its given me a couple ideas about cleaning up my cable clutter. The blower you have is similar to what my 80mm fan is doing, but I don't have the two case mounted fans pulling air in, that's where mechbgon's suggestion of cutting the front grill off...
