2nd cd/dvd burner or just a reader?

Just built a new system. I installed a Sony cd/dvd burner. Already thinking about adding a second something or other. What do you folks do? I think Lite-on has a CD/DVD-Rom player for about $20. Or do is there a reason to add a second burner?

ASUS A8R-MVP stable @325MHz HTT

I just built a system with this board. I have been reading up on OC'ing but havent tried it yet. So my system is default with a AMD 3700+ CPU. Both Speedfan and ASUS probe say my Vcore1 is 1.46. Is that normal?

Good-looking case w/o Front Door?

For me it came down to the Centurion and the Lian-Li PC-7 Plus. I went with the Lian Li cause I wanted to try an all aluminum case and I am happy with it. I would have been pleased with Cenaturion also, I am sure.

Fortron FSP550-60PLN...Anyone use this PSU?

Here is the system parts I have ordered so far...

Crescent....I did get the 7800GT...lol I really wanted the Opty 165 but it wasnt in stock anywhere before I ordered. I debated the Valueram/high speed ram thing. Went with the high speed ram because that what was tested with the board so I knew it would work.

The X2 3800 is out of my budget for now. I have thought about a 3200 venice now and then swap out to a Dual Core next year when they drop in price. But I wasnt sure why kind of a performance drop I would get. Thanks for the Epox recommendation.

So you would recommend the EPoX 9NPA+ Ultra board for my need? Can I get by with a slightly less power supply. I still want a quality unit but if it will save some cash I might consider it.

I've seriously considered the Antec Sonata 2

Advantages of SLI/Crossfire board???
