I have the board for the last year and upto now i was using 2*80GB IDE drives.
I have just connected 2 250GB SATA 2 drives and wanted to work in RAID.
The problems:
1) The RAID BIOS (F10) is not showing unless i enable RAID on the IDE drives. (i have enabled IDE RAID ROM in the BIOS)...
mine is working with -0.1 and is now on 1.38
when i put on Auto i get 1.48v which is too high for my liking
and i am working 400Mhz OC
A64 3200+ @ 2.4Ghz.

i Updated teh BIOS to 4/18/06 because i wanted to use the 183 mhz divider for the memory.
since then i had several carshes while playing Oblivion.
the crash caused the screen to freeze and even pressing the reset button didn't fix it completely - it bbotted into the BIOS screen the but...

Max temp are 44c on stock cooler
SuperPi 1M is 34sec
i am think of using Noctua NH-U12 Cpu cooler
but it is very big and i am not sure it wouldn't hit my mem or VGA card
has anybody using it?
I have this board about 1 month now and i am very happy
i am working with my A64 3200 @ 1.35v @ 2400Mhz and the it is working great.
i have stock cooler only
and i wonder if anyone has managed to push this CPU with stock cooler to higher frequency.

it really helped me a lot
i am aware about the USB problem but my problem is diffrent
when i connect Scanner & Printer to the usb it is working ok
when i add my digital camera it is not connecting to it until i unplug the SCanner & Printer

have you tried to remove the HD connector and leave only the CD connected and then boot ?
have you checked the BIOS that the CD-rom is the first boot device?

i would first try with a live linux CD

after that when you install linux (i used RedHat) it install a Boot manger like LILO or GRUB where you can configure .
