Best Platform for a SQL Ecommerce Server?

Thanks for the info. Yes, we found some issues in our SQL database that was hampering performance. Nonetheless, ASP.NET appears to be a real resource pig. Anyone have any answers on the issue of Daul Core = Dual Physical Processors (for the purposes of Win2K3 licensing?). Cheers. PD

Ok, down here Australia, it costs $799 for the box alone and it's being sold as the cheapest thing out. Which is completely untrue if you compare it to a comparable PC offering (without monitor, keyboard or mouse). Also, there's a 2-3 week build time down here for this system. Amazing when...

Help & Urgent: Need advice on thermal pad or no pad

As for the thermal pad issue, i tend to get worried about scaling DOWN cooling from what the manufacturer has provided. I don't have an authoritative answer on the issue of thermal pad vs no thermal pad, but if you can find one, stick it on! Good lucK!
