I'm pretty sure the ipod plays mp3s in their mp3 format.
I use yamipod to add music to my ipod. itunes sucks and should be burned at the stake.
It doesn't take much time to drag mp3s or songs from my comp to the ipod through yamipod, so I'd say they aren't being converted.
I found some stuff about it here: http://www.neowin.net/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t476223.html
I found another more informative thread on just the a8n32, but can't remember exactly what I searched for when I found it. I'll post the link if I come back across it.
Thank you very much Boston for sheding some light on that. I've had it across at least 2 installations, but never trouble shot it while installing all my software. I know on a fresh install it didn't do it, but at some point it crept back in. I'll post if I narrow it down.
Well, I got booted into windows at stock speeds and everything ran fine. For months now when I start windows sometimes the screen would go blank for a couple minutes after the "loading windows" screen and then windows would come up. Never enough to make me tear it down to find the source, but...
I opened it up and set the drives back to port 3 and 4 and fired it up. I left it overclocked and booted into windows. After getting into windows I got a blue screen. After resetting I lowered the clock speeds down and booted into windows. I went to my drive and set it to run check disk when I...
Thanks Lopri, I'm going to change it back to 3 - 4. I was doing some reading and saw that they should be locked. I'm not sure it was an OS problem at first though cause the drive wasn't even showing up in the BIOS. And I've read that I probably need to turn off the PEG Link option and USB Legacy...
Sorry to post in two sections, but the lack of posts make me think maybe someone here might have this board and this problem before.
Are there locked SATA Ports on the A8N32? I see an option to change the PCI speed. Do I need to mess with that?
I've had my old Opteron 146 over clocked...
If you're not running any games or graphic intensive programs on the third monitor, I don't see a problem with pci. I ran a PCI card a while back as a second to an AGP card and never saw any slow downs because of it.

I've had my old Opteron 146 over clocked to 2.9 Ghz (290 FSB X 10) for over a year now without incident, but this weekend, I migrated the 146 from my computer over to one I'm...
I usually post when I have a question that hasn't been answered somewhere already, and post when I have an answer to someones question. I'm a bit of a forum whore on some other boards though.
lol, a lot of us have spend enough for a nice used car or a very nice down payment. The scary thing is this is just Newegg. There's still a lot of odds and ends out there at other places..
I was riding with a guy one time that had a "paternal order of fellow officers" card (or something like that) and he had it in his wallet just where the cop could see it. He didn't and wrote him a ticket. When he gave him the ticket and saw it he apologized like hell. I was like where can I get...
I've made a few decent purchases from newegg in the past year, but nothing like a plasma or LCD tv (got those at other places), but I was checking on an order and clicked order history. I added it up just for fun and in the last year I have spent 2825.16 there.
I'd hate to see the figure...
I've had the 600 for around 6 months now and haven't had a single problem with it. I runs the system in my sig, and I did have two 7800GTX's before the 7950GX2.
C2D is my next step if AMD doesn't pull something out of their hat other than throwing 3 processors on a board (hope thats not the next step). I have to replace my sons MB, so I'm going to put my Opteron 146 @ FX57 in his new MB and jump to DC in mine. I do a lot of DVD authoring and transcoding...
Hey guys, I'm going to be upgrading my system (specs below). I don't see the benefits in me stepping up to AM2 at this time, but do want to get up to dual core. I'm looking around the 250 - 300 dollar range. I plan on overclocking what ever I get, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of...
Also, if your video card doesn't support it, then it won't show up. Make sure your VC can support that resolution. I have a 19" widescreen on my work computer, but the onboard video won't display anything other than 4:3 ratios.
I paid $369 for my DL Sony burner when it first came out, and also have never burned a DL disc. One Click DVD copy can remove everything and my compression rate is usually around 11%. I've watched them on our 65" HDTV with a progressive scan (haven't tried the upconverting set tops yet) and they...
I love the HD280's. They have worked flawlessly.
$75 with free shipping. They retailed for 199 when I got mine.

There are a couple nice sets here. I'm sure if you google you will find tons of sets. Just stick to stores you trust. FrozenCPU has never done me wrong.

Well, right now newegg has the 8800GTX for 599, and its 650 MSRP on Evga.com. I like the idea a lot cause you don't get screwed out of all the money you paid for a card when they come out with a new one 2 months later. I bought my 7950GX2 right after they came out. It was far too early for me to...
Found a way to clear up some room.
I lowered the amount of space windows could use for restore points and went into the system volume information folder. There were a bunch of restore point folders. I moved all but the most current one to the storage drive. That made enough room to enable...
So is this impossible? APC said they had no clue how to do it either. I was thinking a few registry tweaks would do the trick, but couldn't find any straight forward things that worked.
IIRC it should be processed and go through the system bus to the sound cards output. I haven't used the audio out on my cd/dvd drives for a very long time. Not sure if or when they were ever required to get sound to the sound card. Might have been for way back when it would strain it to process...
I ordered a battery backup for our server here at work. I installed the software and connected it to the usb, but got an error saying I needed to enable Hibernation so it could go into that mode if the battery runs out while the powers out.
My problem is that theres only 200 megs free and...
Call him to talk about the situation. Record the whole conversation and get him to say that it booted up before he worked on it and that it was as-is. Small claims court might not care, but 24 hours before the hearing let him know you have him recored admitting it worked and it was as-is...
The Hub should receive a signal from the computer (when its turned on) to send power to the devices connected to it. If its off I don't believe that the hub will send power to components connected to it. Thats how I've always thought it to work.
I bought this one close to a year ago and ran the system in my sig with 2 7800GTX's overclocked and now a 7950GX2 and it has ran flawlessly. Had good reviews also.

This is a great dual core chip at an awesome price if you're...
P&N?
lol, 99% just seems like a nice popular number. I'm sure its in the 90's though. I worked in retail for 5 years a good while back, and most the time it was the manufactures that took the hit.
We once had a brand new Bose system that the receiver didn't work on. All the speakers...
I don't know why people have sympathy for retailers anyway. 99% of the time they get a credit from the manufacturer with the advice to throw the defective unit in the trash compactor anyway. And who would want to protect the king of them all (Walmart) , which is where I'd bet most of the 360's...
