Yeah, I got the same firmware "upgrade". All it does is turn the Silence Suppresion off. Which technically is not a firmware upgrade, just a firmware tweak. I sent a note to support myself and they claim they are aware of the problem and that for some people the "upgrade" has fixed the problem.

My Verizon phone service is up over $60 a month.... We are getting close to dropping it as well. I only hope they don't cut off my Verizon FIOS in the process. I know they technically shouldn't, but I noticed that my account number for FIOS is tied to my VERIZON phone number....

If what you are asking is, Can you have all of your phones in your house work with this service, with the phones in their current locations, then the answer is yes, although I don't think SR supports it. I actually have it installed this way.

Actually the $5 was credited from the very start of my invoice, NOT after they screwed up. I'm not complaining... They did not send me the phones, as I went with the xtra 3 months special.

Thank you. The more I research this, the more I think my router is to blame as well... I am doing some tweaks to the router now (based on other forums mentioning dropped connections with my router type as well) to see if that helps. If not, I will be changing routers shortly....
