Question Weird white box with globe and x, bottom right corner. Windows 10

If you hover just right, a OK button appears. But it must be frozen as it does nothing. Edit: I wonder if it was Avira. I just did a repair on the Avira install and that window disappeared. We'll see what happens.

Maybe a Lenovo Update. At first I thought it was Avira Virus stuff as I had something stuck that same morning on my home computer, but different screen. I haven't checked startup tasks yet. I know it doesn't show up in Task Manager in the Apps section. It may be in the Background tasks...

We have a computer here at work that all of sudden started getting this white box on in the lower right corner. If we reboot it goes away, which we did yesterday afternoon. This morning when the person remoted in it was there again. It doesn't appear as a window in the task bar. Can't right...

Mini PC Recommendation/Setup

Excepts the Inspirons come with Windows Home and we would actually need Pro to connect to our domain to access the file. So to correctly answer PalmFire.....we need a Pro version of Windows.

Monitor Directory and Backup/Sync

iPhone and IMAP not working properly

Should of posted sooner that I finally got it figured out. They were still on the server as I could log in via the webmail program and see them there. I ended up dumping his emails to a temporary folder, deleted the email account on the server and recreated the email account on the server...

Drawing in a PDF file

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on doing a line drawing, labels, etc in a PDF file? Or maybe we can do it in MS Publisher where the document was originally created. We do estimates that require line drawings and labels. Like outline of house, fence lines, simple dimensions, etc...

CutePDF users...a question?

I found out what is causing it, not sure why it's doing it...........but the culprit is the resolution. When I first selected CutePDF is wanted to output at 3600 dpi. If I dropped it down to 2400 dpi every thing showed up. If I went up to 4000 dpi it made the cut off even worse. Why that...

I guess I'll have to call TDS Metro because it still isn't working. When I look at the confit screen on the linksys wrt150 it gives me a space for an INTERNAL and a EXTERNAL port. I have them both filled with 3389. Is that correct?

Thanks dawks.....that might be it. I ran whatsmyip and ipchicken and it gave me a different IP than what IPConfig did. So maybe the equipment TDS metro installed gives us another address. I will try the new one tongiht.
