    Computer shuts down during boot.

    Sounds like the processor isn't connected to the CPU fan adequately. My socket 775 had to be seriously clamped down for this problem to stop rebooting my new build. Ensure you have a nice even layer of thermal grease and that the CPU fan is actually functioning.
