Russia Today video
After a truck crashed into a fire sprinkler pipe, the street in Tokyo is flooded with foam. I've seen sprinklers systems malfunction, but nothing like this. I wonder how long will the Japanese firefighters take to clean this up.
You're not the only one who bought Spirit Tracks today.
It is getting some good reviews, but it would be better if you get a hold of a strategy guide or walkthrough of the game to complete it a little easier in the near future.
Just like I've enjoyed Phantom Hourglass, I will certainly...
We've struck over 1000 AnandTech forum members online today, probably the first time in ten years! Thanks to the AT web staff who promote the site all these years and made it one of the best online communities on the Net! :)
Agreed, it'll be better if the AT web staff make the notices than the volunteer admins. The web staff have been very consistent on making announcements more professional-like for over a decade.
Agreed here too. Those notices need to be more on the professional level, straightforward and understandable. I got a hint of who wrote it though, but not all of us are well educated to fully understand such creative writing.
I feel that the hack incident should not have been announced, but...

Your creative writing does ring a bell to me, sounds as if you're speaking from your soul. :D

Luckly I didn't get the email, but if the affiliate site wasn't posted by the web team, or any of the admins, this matter is worth investigating. Someone could've injected malicious code to get the "affiliate link" in, just a guess.
Yeah, that's my main guess, probably just another forum diagnostic check. I'm guessing the web team probably isn't ready to add more mods and stuff quite yet until everything checks out okay.
Perhaps the "moonwalk" refers to the finishing touches (mods, themes, etc) that they plan to add soon? Just hope it bring more stuff to the forums, I don't plan to be around during the outage.
I believe this is because the forum's CAPTCHA code image users enter when registering to join AT isn't fully revised yet to filter out the spambots.
I just wish the AT tech guys would change up the CAPTCHA or add antispam security questions to make it harder for spambots to bypass.
Like the My Forums page? The forum software itself may not have this feature, but I believe this is a vB mod that can be installed so that latest new members, top posters and hot topics are featured.
