    I can understand the value of raising it, (keeping the buses 1:1), but what's the point in lowering it? I've never been able to think up a reason for it.

    You guys misunderstood; NVIDIA's digital sharpening is not only for video, but for everything, including games. It made games look much better with a few notches of IS. It was the one reason I chose NVIDIA over ATI previously. :\

    I think the DMOMM demo's textures were locked at Medium, even if you could select High. The full game's High textures weren't present in the demo, so you're stressing your machine harder than when you were just playing the demo. Part of the reason for the game's astronomically large size.

    He probably has Soft Shadoes enabled. That halves your framerate. Oh, and if you're not using Triple Buffering with DXTweaker, then be sure to DISABLE your VSYNC, as that has a major performance impact as well without Triple Buffering.

    You shouldn't've bought a moniter with a crazy native res like that if you didn't have the video card to back it up. After carefully reading both tweakguides posted avoe, turn down the settings and play at 1024x768, no HDR, no shadows and no anti-aliasing. Should run fine then.
