Patched tire with noticably softer sidewalls=dangerous?

The work was done at a Sears automotive place. When I say noticeable, I mean relative compared to the other tires. The other tires won't budge at all while the patched one will budge a .25cm especially near the thread.

Possible to go from ios2 > ios3?

I just picked up an ipod touch second gen but it has ios2 on it. When I choose to upgrade in itunes, the only available option is io4 which I don't really want because of the horror stories about responsiveness/battery life. Is it still possible for me to go from ios2>ios3? Thanks

Have you ever felt like you are rushing through life?

How do you not rush through life if you don't have a means of financial support? Going abroad is great but its also expensive unless you act/live as a bum(basically my way of describing backpackers...)

Spring has been here; Time to make my Civic look good... I need help!

Eh I never dry my car before claying, just a waste of time IMO since you're basically getting it wet/dirty again. I like Mothers clay because its very soft and the spray detailer it comes with is actually decent as a quick touch up after washes(and it smells good).

Brake Questions-vibration from 70+mph?

Well I don't know if its because the rotors are warped or because the pads wore unevenly or some other misc problem...it only occurs when I apply brakes going 70+, braking from <70 is fine for some reason.

Engineering Advice

As someone who was in a similar situation but choosing to go to the no-name school for the high GPA, I highly recommend staying at Michigan. That name on the resume will do wonders and college is nothing more than a very expensive way to get past HR filters. The better the school, the less...

Isn't it dangerous that fat Americans view obesity as empowering?

BMI can't be a good indicator, according to a calculator I found, at 6'1", I can be 140 pounds and be considered "normal" weight. I don't know anyone in the 6' range that weights less than 160 and 140 must be the point where ribs and bones are showing... And it also doesn't seem to be linear at...

Do it!!! The driving experience in these things are suppose to be sublime. Just about every review glowed about its handling and I don't ever recall anyone ever saying anything bad about the handling. Can't say the same for a viper, mustang, corvette, rx7, supra, 300z, 3000gt....

Different sized 85w chargers

I'm in possession of two 85w macbook pro chargers, one happens to be bigger than the other. Are there any differences between the two other than size/weight? Will the larger charge any faster than the smaller one?

Arg... help me pick a sporty car for commuting..

Go and test drive a Volvo S60R, they still have some of the best seats in the business IMO(great for those bumper-bumper days). I have a '07 with 28k miles going for ~22k asking price near my area so I can't imagine they'll be going for much more.

What size for a first Macbook Pro? 13.3" or 15.4"?

I would go with the 15", longer battery and still light enough to not be a bother. Get the matte version as its a bit lighter because it doesn't have the glass covering the lcd.

Parents want to buy a small new SUV. Recommendations?

Anything Subaru would be a good choice for them. Their AWD systems work great and they're very reliable and if you avoid the turbo versions, will easily beat their EPA numbers.

Who do I have to kill?

These things are dropping in price like crazy. I've seen samples as low as 35k but most will be around 40-50. I'm not big on the looks but that engine note is sublime. There is nothing new on the market that sounds as good as a slightly used Quattroporte.

No horizontal scroll in bootcamp?

Everything else works fine as far as I know. I can do right click using either "crtl+button" or "two fingers button". The screen/sound responds to their proper shortcuts and the backlit keyboard senses darkness properly.
