Sorry DasFox. Didn't get back on the pc until now. :) I see others have echoed my sentiments so I don't mean to pile on. I think an extremely high percentage of Windows problems/reformats can be attributed to reg cleaners. What I meant by if you can't do it manually you shouldn't do it...

I wonder if reg cleaners are the cause of most of the problems? Seems like whenever I would help a friend they used reg cleaners and just deleted what it said. IMO, if you don't know how to manually clean your registry you shouldn't use any cleaners either as you don't know what you're deleting.

I wish I could argue that point but you are correct. That's ok though, imo. I don't use Windows but I fight because of those that use Windows and think it's the only choice. It very well may be a losing cause but who knows. :)

I understand your point but it's not totally correct. For me, I installed SUSE and it found every single piece of hardware and I didn't have to install any drivers or anything else other than update my security settings. You can't do that most times with MS and those same people that...

Right Click-Hold on a tab and scroll. I don't use anything like that so am not sure but this site has a ton of info. http://nontroppo.org/wiki/Opera I like the Powerbuttons. The Kill switch is nice.

I thought I could fix the boot order in GRUB . . . oh, dear.

Opera Loading during Windows Startup?

You won't have an email panel until you set up an account. Once you do it will all be there. xtknight gave the correct path for it. Your other problem I'm not sure how to fix or if there's a way. You could try the Opera forums and see if none of us here knows how to.

As a new Linux user I can't speak of all the distros like the knowledgable ones here can but I installed SUSE as my first. It went smooth. Found all of my hardware and I like YaST. It's very userfriendly and powerful. It has, I believe, the most software and documentation of all the distros...

YaST system update problem

Make sure you know it's really frozen. Some apps like OpenOffice are huge dl's and it looks like it's freezing for quite a while and I let it run overnight and it's done when I wake up. Not sure if this is your problem but it does happen. That probably has to do with what SleepWalkerX...
