Unfortunately those sensors are not water proof as well. If they get wet enough they will quit working. I am counting on the sensor relaying the command to shutoff the water before it quits working. In practice, as...

I have this off my water main coming into my house being triggered by 10-12 water leak sensors located around the house. Works pretty damn good. Even have it communicating with the I/O hub (which is...
I would use the ground wire regardless. There is a tapped hole for a grounding screw in many metal boxes nowadays, it doesn't take up much time at all to tie the metal box to ground.
I would do some research about running any cable perpendicular or parallel with a cold air return. You could find that you maybe in violation of the NEC.
I know for electrical power cables, you can only run romex electrical wire perpendicular to the cold air return. Any runs parallel with the...
this past weekend there was a driver who's car was broken down in the middle of the highway who was trying to push his car to the side of the road. 2 other drivers and myself helped push their car out of the way.
It is a very dangerous situation to be stopped in the middle of the highway...
You need to follow code whenever you do any work on your house. See 314.19 thru 314.22. It appears that as long as your extension is flush or protrudes from your wall you should be ok.
The transformer housing isn't in cased in a junction box. I would definitely recommend you adding an extension onto this existing box to prevent overheating. The problem is, that NEC code requires the extension to be flush with the wall, so you will have to make the existing ceiling box go...
Doesn't even look like a proper electrical junction box was used. Isn't this a fire hazard? If one of those wires shorted out and ignited that material, it would burn that wall down no problem. Typically an electrical junction box would (in the event of a short circuit that produces sparks)...
wtf are you talking about? even the most experienced riders can learn something new. wanting to be a better rider is smart, thoughts of being macho and whatever other illusions you may have about riding is foolish.
while your tire rotates, it flattens out on the road and expands when no weight in on it. At 80MPH your side wall expands and contracts probably 15 or more times a second. At what point does it seem that placing a plug on that part of your tire seem like a good idea?
sorry to hear your getting out of riding. Just be glad your relatively ok.
heading to Treverton PA tomorrow for some dirtbike riding. I hope to fair better than you however.
pansy ass gas... when I went, there was so much yellow haze you could barely see. I had like 3 feet of snot hangin from my nose. People were throwing up all over the place..... good times.
Um no. Every second makes the difference. I know if a bear sees me and starts charging from 30-50 ft, that 1 second could mean the difference between being lunch and surviving.
torque is similar to how much force is generated inside the engine after ignition per cycle.
horse power is similar to the summing of the torque forces per second.
for instance, a crotch rocket 600cc motorcycle. while they do not have alot of torque generated per ignition cycle due to their...
