E-Machine and New Memory Problem

Yes, It's a Matched set of two sticks 2gigs It will power up with the original stick of 512 It will power up with the 512 & 1 stick of one gig giveing 1.5 gigs of system memory BUT will NOT power up with the two sticks for 2 gis of system memory This is annoying Thanks. .

Abit KN9 Ultra Mobo & Memory

Christmas PC's Power Supplys ?

Seems like alot of Christmas Pre-Built PC's - HP , Gateway , Dell etc Come with 300 watt or lower Power Supplys. Even if 5% of the buyers want to upgrade the Video Cards etc because of VISTA in the spring and find out they need to buy a new Power supply also, Seems like a lot of unhappy...

New licensing terms for Windows Vista are a shocker.

If when installing the same disk for the fifth time It says you gotta call M$ then call them and say I want a new code I had so many pop ups and pop unders and it was takeing 10 mins to start. That I just reformated the damm thing They will give you a new code with no question asked .

I ordered XP last year from somewebsite that I found on www.pricewatch.com for around $ 70.oo full version. The website clamed that they came from boxes that were returned to the manufacture. Who Knows the truth ? But it came wraped like it was from a New PC like thay said and the COA...

Poll: Future Disk formats

The whole DRM thing is going to Blow-Up big time soon in the Media companys faces. I bought the Disk or the file or next year the CRYSTAL I should be able to do anything I want with it EXCEPT give it to 10,000 people I don't know Use it in my car, home, plane, train, living room, bedroom...

Used CRT

Only One CRT to get SONY 24" GDM-FW900 Ebay Item number: 8745658892 But only if you have the desk space and at 100 pounds it better not crack your desk and fall on your foot. ( laugh ) Also, I don't think that they make these any more so you gotta get them before they all disapear. .

Digital to Analog Converter ??

In that case Since I have the space and like CRT's cause I do not have to worry about the resolution. I am going to order a SONY 24" GDM-FW900 CRT MONITOR Ebay Item number: 8745658892 This should look very nice with the 7800gt Thanks All

Digital to Analog Converter ??

Sorry, If this is an Old question. But all the New Video Cards are Digital out only and they come with a converter to analog. I just bought a 7800gt, But do NOT want to give up my 22" CRT Does the Converter distort the image ? Does the converter cause video lag ? Or am I just...
