All emails from my company email server to AOL getting rejected

We're a small software company with some clients and investors that use AOL. We tried to send an email to them, and they ultimately (like days later) came back undeliverable. I tried sending one to my Mom's AOL account, and it also bounced back, yet when I use my gmail or Comcast account, they...

Apparently IP Cameras send so much data, that the SW considers it a DOS attack. Allegedly there is a "hidden" page that allows altering this behavior. Anyone know where this is / how to get to it? Thoughts?

Wicked virus

Some virus that regenerates random alpha character named EXEs is plaguing one of my systems. I've used SpyBot, Ad-Aware, SpySweeper, Norton AV, TrendMicro Housecall, AVG, all with latest definitions and even manually hacked it out of registry and folders. It keeps coming back. It's not...

INACCESSABLE BOOT VOLUME

Got a Dell laptop that starts loading XP Pro and then blue screens with INACCESSABLE BOOT VOLUME. Safe Mode and LKGC do same. Drive seems fine and I can read all files with Knoppix. How do I get XP happy again and keep my system intact? Thanks, B

Passing username and password in URL

It's generic - no specifics required, thus not really "blind" fix. Server didn't change - it's Linux. My desktop, Win2K Pro, received a batch of updates this week from Microsoft and now it does work. I can setup another Win2K box pre-fixes and see what update broke it.

"control sysdm.cpl" brings up system properties and adding ,,1 chooses NetID tab. How can I activate Properties button on NetID tab as well? How can I call TCP/IP properties of Local Area Connection directly?

Differences in 4mm DAT tapes?

I think my drive is a DDS-4 20/40GB. Need tapes, but only need max of 4GB. Can I get smaller capacity tapes or are they incompatible? There's 2/4, 4/8, 12/24, 20/40, and 36/72. I see references to DDS-2 and DDS-3.

Of course 2.5GB is too large to open with most word processors, certainly too much for notepad and wordpad, to figure out what problem might be.

Ultra SCSI drives are still expensive, especially a pair for RAID1. These are fairly decent 10KRPM 18GB units. They are only using 1GB on Data volume, but I don't know if I can adjust partition sizes. Why is HEALTH.LOG so dang large? How do I contain it?

Which Windows do I need for simple file share?

2 concurrent users. May add 3rd down the road. Moving away from Novell server. While I know some Linux, they don't - need them to be able to do basic troubleshooting, hence Windows based system.

I concur, but this group had a p2p in the past and it left bad taste in their mouths. Again, I recognize that the lines are blurry for p2p vs c/s, with the only clear detail being 3rd box is not a workstation.

Which Windows do I need for simple file share?

Two users want to connect to a 3rd "server" box so that documents can reside there and be backed up to that box's tape drive. 2000Pro, 2000Server, XP Pro, 2003 Web. Don't want Peer-to-Peer network, though the lines have been blurred by Windows.

Win98 - now with more worms

For the interim, I reloaded Dell OEM Win98SE. Got everthing all set and on the 8th or 9th reboot, it froze. Upon restart, Scandisk came up with errors and said to run it from within Windows (great, if Windows starts...). It did and drive contents are scrambled again. Bad drive? Bad RAM...
