Your right on that Ktulu. Saying that GM is asking for 50billion is a misrepresentation. I was unfortunately taken in by the title of this thread.
Looking at this again. If indeed this money is the first step in coming up with new types of vehicles/infrastructure to reduce this countries...
I don't choose to ignore those points. The loss of GM would cause a ripple effect in the economy and sink more than a few cities around this country. There are roughly 90,000 domestic jobs and 170,000 foreign jobs at stake along with all of the support jobs that would be lost. I'm definitely...
Bail out a company that is moving jobs overseas.. while foreign competition is opening plants in the US? What's wrong with this picture.
I'll stick with my Honda Element which was manufactured in Ohio. I'm sure people will come out saying stuff like "ya but the parts were made overseas"...
You can always spend more money and get better quality. The cheapest Onkyo HTIB I found was a refurb for $150+$40 shipping.

If you purchase the Pioneer thinking the quality is going to be the same as higher end models, then your foolish. The $400 Onkyo system I have in my living...
I've never expected anything super fast from big e-tailers. This time of year, they take forever. I guess I'm more patient though. I usually give them 3 full business days before I start to wonder. Newegg takes a week to get anything to me so I'm used to delays. I've seen cases though were...
I just got mine setup last night. Wonderful little system. 3 digital inputs, 1 analog input, and FM radio to boot. I have it hooked to my PC and gaming system. Very pleased with it.
These will probably go quick. I have one at work hooked to my computer and makes excellent gaming Audio system. I bought one for home to use in the bedroom. Can't beat the price.
ALIVE - $89
DEAD - $95

I use Verbatim exclusively but only because I've heard so many good reports. This price point caught my eye and is very tempting. Maybe someone who's used this brand can give a report.

It's a better deal if you pick up store, shipping costs bring up the price.

The only really Wootable thing I've seen was a Lyra 20gig PMP for $99. Other than that, there hasn't been much in cheap tech gadgetery. Other stuff that has been on par pricewise with other tech sights. For instance, the bluetooth Logitech headphones 49.99 + 5 shipping. Just Deals had those...
They must have temporarily raised the price to let their inventory system catch up or something. Glad to see that they're back in line with other etailers.
This is true, I'm willing to pay %5-10 in general over what other etailers are selling items for at Newegg under normal circumstances.
However, raising their price in the face of probably one of the most highly anticipated price cuts that I can remember in a while doesn't seem to make sense...
Newegg has always sold above the reported lowest prices on hot items. The E4300 is a great example. That processor has been up on Newegg for months at $165 when most etailers were selling it in the $140 range. A few days ago they dropped the price to $135 and other etailers are now selling it...
It's not like WOW. At least in the way the player can choose skills and such. It's definitely decent and I think it's worth a play. heck it's free. Graphics are also pretty good.
I believe this is correct. AMD had a nice niche for a while as the 939 enthusiast overclocker. When C2D came out, ALOT of people running single core chips switched over to Intel when they made the move to dual core instead of going the X2 route. Alot of this had to do with pricing points.
If...
This is a really great game if your a fan of Diablo genre. It has a really nice character creation system that allows for good relpayability. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a 3D rotating camera. I kinda got spoiled with that in Dungoen Siege.
Maybe if there's a sequal :) Seeing as...
You won't regret it. You'll probably still be using this monitor 5 generations of PC's from now. You'll get more than it's value back. If you have an HD tuner to hook up to it.. BONUS
These are really nice. They work well for your standard frozen pizza. You will probably have to do some fine tuning to cook some of the gourmet pizzas.
I started a Woodelf just to compare against my experience with a gnome and amazingly their starting area is ALOT more polished. The sound didn't seem to be working correctly but the framerate was tons better. I was running 1920x1080 with "balanced" graphic setting and was seeing almost no...
I agree entirely. My review was a little too heavy on the bug reporting side so I added some comments at the end to sum up my overall feelings.
I'm enjoying it as well. :)
-UI
Anyone who's played WOW will find the UI almost identical. In fact it's so blatantly similar it's scary. So all you WOW guys won't have to learn a new UI, you'll be off and running with a familiar interface.
-Quest System
The quest system is almost a carbon copy of the WOW system as...
We were discussing this at work today. If you look at benchmarks closely, alot of the top end cards show little difference running at resolutions of 1280x1024. Which is why most review sites are now listing 1600x1200 benchmarks as the standard.
It's the same reason if you look at older...
It does, but not officially. There's a nice thread on AVS forums about this monitor. The component support wasn't talked about until recently so if you look through the last 15-20 pages, you'll find the info.
I've been using this monitor in my bedroom for about 5 months now as a computer monitor, I also watch tv full screen before bed. I haven't had any ghosting problems. When I use it as a monitor I usually run a full 1280x1024 windowed game + PIP tv in the corner + a browser window open and it all...
