Hummm, yeah, I checked that a few weeks ago and dusted it off nice and good, but I didn't see any improvement.
Thanks for the feedback guys! Now I can contact EVGA and make sure they don't try and confuse me into thinking it's the RAM or something else ;)
Hello Everyone,
I'm guessing my video card is dying, but I'm not sure how to figure out if it's truly the problem. My video card is a Geforce 7900 that I picked up about 3 years ago and over the last few months is started to streak like crazy in games. And now it's at the point that it's...
Sounds great, is there a particular brand of 4850 that I should look for? I've always gone with Nvidia in the past, so I'm not as familiar with the Ati manufacturers.
I've been out of the market since I built my PC back in 2005, and I think my Geforce 7900 GS is slowly dying (streaking in games, etc...). I'd like to upgrade before Fallout 3 comes out in the Fall/Winter. Are there any new cards that will be coming out soon, which would drive down the price...
Thanks for the info guys, this is really helpful. I've been out of the information loop since I built my PC 2 years ago.
I'll definitely go ahead and wait then.
Also, what MOBO would you recommend for OCing?
1. What YOUR PC will be used for. Gaming
2. What YOUR budget is. $500ish
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from. USA
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. No Preference
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts:
Lite-On DVDRW
Western Digital HD

I'm trying to transfer my old Favorites folder into the new one. At first I couldn't even open the old one because I didn't "own it" SO I adjusted that in the security settings, but then each individual file within it was still set to the old "unknown user" Is there a way for me to...
ARGH, I tried the methods listed in this post but it didn't work. Even in the Command Prompt I'm getting "access denied"
Is there a force delete command that should work?
ActiveX, where do you learn about all these deals? You seem to have more hardware/tool updates than most, something I'm rather interested in at the moment.
I'm in the market for a little MP3 Player for the gym, and this seems like a solid deal.

How reliable are external hard drives?
I'm thinking of backing up my data and then disconnecting it.</end quote></div>
Based on my experience, that won't work...
Wow, there really are great deals on DDR 184 Pin right now. Personally I like the GSkill for $54:

um, I wasn't around for your earlier worries, but have you had an outbreak or something?
You mentioned something about a GF having the disease. If you're still with here you might as well not get tested unless you have an outbreak.
Good luck either way.
Hey guys,
I'm looking to use this internal Hard Drive as an External one:
Western Digital Caviar SE WD2500JS 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
And I found this enclosure.
POWMAX EMVSATA35 Aluminum 3.5" USB 2.0
Now I know it won't work at the 3GB/Sec, but will they work...
QFT. I wouldn't buy AMD, I really don't see them coming out with anything that great for a year. In the mean time buy Intel.
Plus, Apple is partnered with Intel, and they are about to go through the roof with the IPODs IPhone and the new excitement for apples.
