Nintendo Wii's available tomorrow at Circuit City

So I drive through the snow in Ohio today, Circuit City "Yes, we have Wii in stock, come at 9am and get your voucher" ad in hand. I get to the store, big sign in the window "Sorry, Wii temporarily out of stock." Nice, eh?

What is your favorite brand of paint? What would you recommend?

My wife did dark red in our living room. We learned: Red takes a ton of coats. Behr paint sucked. We ended up have some Sears Easy Living tinted to match the Behr, and that worked out much better.

So, I'm poking around Newegg for a deal on a Seasonic 600W :evil: and I come across this little monster FSP X3 SLI PSU Immediately I ask myself... exactly what is the difference between this and a 2nd 'normal' PSU? (aside from form factor). Looks like exactly what I've been babbling about in...

So, I hooked up the O-scope to 12v and gave the system a workout. Points of note: 1) 12v line is a bit high, 12.4 volts 2) looks fairly noisy: about 80mV pk-pk just idling in Windows 3) hard drive activity causes big down spikes, up to 0.5 volts 4) intense operation (3DMark06) gives way...

Well, I'm no power supply guru, but i think that there will be less current draw with the load split then with my current setup. I'm not sure how a video card will respond without the aux connector powered, but if the 2nd PS goes tits up, all the drives shut down, and so does the aux connector...

OCZ Performance PC3200 2x1GB issue?

Wow, super advice, and very weird! Did the load opimized stuff, set to 1T and left the rest alone, ratcheted up to 230 with no errors on a couple MemTest passes. Go figure. No to find out why I can't get the CPU (opty 144) Prime stable past 2.4gig Thanks for the tip... never would...

OCZ Performance PC3200 2x1GB issue?

I am conducting some more in depth testing. manually set timings to 3-3-3-8, voltage to 2.7, Testing the stick separately. Lowered HTT mult to 4 and CPU to 7 to rule out other issues. Stick A fails at 200 (MemTests 2 & 7) Stick B has passed at 200 & 210, still going (testing 220 right now)...

OCZ Performance PC3200 2x1GB issue?

Hi all, Picked up some OCZ Performance PC3200 (OCZ4002048PFDC-K) newegg link for my Epox 9NPA+/Opty 144 rig. Out of the box, all default settings on the board (DDR 400), I get errors in MemTest86. I then manually set voltage to 2.6 figuring maybe the Auto setting wasn't picking it up right...
