I have just received an ASUS A8N32 - SLI DELUXE. The package was in great condition. The box was in great condition, all of the cables were sealed but I noticed that the motherboard was wrapped just as I had expected except that on one end it was wide open. It does not seem like it was cut open...
The absolute best heatsink/fan would be......??? I will be trying to hit 2.8 ghz with my Opteron 144 and I would love for it to stay under 50c during load and still have low noise levels coming out of it btw.
What about the Zalman 7700 (copper) or the Zalman 9500? I really like the way the 7700 looks but I've heard that the 9500 is better at cooling. Anyone?

I would have went with the DFI Expert board but I've heard stories about people having their Opteron cpu's burn out on that board in particular. It also does not support dual 16x which will come in handy whenever I decide to buy a new pci-express card that uses up the bandwidth. I've also heard...
Thanks for that link X Neo X. Seems that it tops out at 310 which is not bad but that will not give me 2.8 ghz. I wonder if I could raise it to 312 and stlll have it be stable... The DFI SLI Expert board would probably have no problem hittin 312+ htt. Too bad it does not feature dual x16 pci-e...
I would probably only use 2 sata II ports at the most. Would that asus board do at least 312 htt by x9??? That's what I would need in order to hit 2.8 ghz. Anyone?
