lawl, very nice. where at in ohio? im in pro football HOF city. my gas tank leaks too :). i got a 1992 chevy with 240k on it needs the trans swapped. shitty weather.. how the HELL did that pass emissions?!?!?!

How does octane booster help my car?

Engine got pretty hot

read the freakin sticky on top of the garage forum then READ MY POST. the ac is powered by a serpentine or v belt, seperate from engine cooling. it has nothing to do with it. if its not working, its an AC issue which is seperate components. dont start thinking things. its rather simple...

belt housing? no such thing. i think you mean transmission BELL housing. even then, the bell housing is part of the whole transmission case and if you broke that you cant buy a piece to fix it. i think you mean a cover on the bottom of the bell housing. i dont know where you got bracket or...

its an 89 f250? mostly likely has a 351 windsor motor.. if not then a 302. 350 is chevy. ford had 351's and an oddball 352 in the 60's or so unless of course.. someone in virginia had a welder and a cutter and shes a fevvy. you know, chevy powered ford. my ride is in my sig, its not too...

muh dad had an xs1100, he was saying how a guy with a honda cbx beat him and he got pissed. the bike scared him but he kept it till the end. ended up riding no more because a truck pulled out in front of his best friend, he hit the bed went over it and head first into a curb. helmet sheared...

Synthetic Motor oil deal ...

castrol syntec 20w50 has a higher than .12 weight percent zinc level which is more zinc than most regular oils. true it has been removed TO AN EXTENT but zddp (zinc, phospherous, is present probably at least around .05 weight percent. but syntec has high levels of zddp. reg oils have about .10...

throttle position sensor, mass air flow sensor, bad/stuck injector, temp sensor.. dump some good fuel system cleaner in it like lucas or gunk brands. use google. also about scanning, if theres not check eng lite on then its not throwing codes (error codes made by cpu) then nothing will come...

Dull headlight lenses

theres stuff at autozone in a shiny silver plastic pack to clean the lights.. its at autozone/advance auto. its probably $20 but works good, a bit of work go ask

Lawn tractor engine won't run without the choke

you shouldnt have to adjust and valve clearance or whatever. id say it sounded like the mixture screw (little one with a spring) is off. just get the engine warm somehow and fiddle with it so it runs with the choke off.. but since you say you worked with it id say you messed something up when...

first of all if youre not mechanically inclined dont do the work yourself, just save yourself the hassle. if youve got $$$ then go to a dealer, otherwise theyre expensive as hell. id find a good reputable shop nearby (im a proud supporter of the mom and pop places) theyre a lot cheaper. ask...
