Vista Ultimate 64 asks to open HsMgr and HsMgr64 at every boot

I had the same problem in Windows 7 beta, I located the files and went to the properties tab of those 2 files and set them to run with admin status and it solved it for me. And in Vista 64 I just unchecked the box about always ask before running and it never did it again but I have the UAC...

Recommendations for free incremental backup software

Not sure if this if this does incremental since I just make full images. But Paragon makes a free drive back up program. I was pretty impressed with it that I bought the Pro version and switched away from True Image. Can't hurt to try it's, it's free and it does run on Vista 64...

SmartDefrag is another freeware that does a pretty good job. It can do defrag and optimize. http://www.iobit.com/iobitsmartdefrag.html I own PerfectDisk 2008 but its the last defrag program I will buy, the next time I re-install Vista 64 I am going the freeware route.

Linksys USB100tx [usb-to-ethernet] for Playstation 2?

Before I got the regular PS2 network adapter I tried the Linksys one and it worked I used it in Socom and it worked just fine so I do believe it is plug and play. It can't hurt to try.

Playing BF2

I opened this port 16567 type UDP on my router and it has worked fine for me since BF2 was released. On page 19 of the Battlefield 2 manual it lists all the ports that are used. Hope this helps
