This is pretty much my current set up. I have an RCA > 3.5 adapter that goes from my TV to my speakers. The problem is that the only volume I can control is the volume of the TV's internal speakers, not the PC speakers. I've played with all of the TV's Audio settings and can't find a way to...
Can anyone provide some links to a cheap receiver I could use to control the volume on the speakers via remote?
I've searched around a little on Google but haven't come up with anything that fits what I need.
I'm looking to spend around $50 if possible.
Thanks!
I've discovered that my 32 inch dynex LCD (what a beast right?) doesn't have an option to control variable volume. It looks like I'll be taking cheesehead's advise and purchasing some sort of cheap preamp.
Anyone have some suggestions on reputable online retailers, or any other place I could...
Thanks for the responses guys. I'm going to take a look at the menu options tonight and see if it can be controlled on the TV itself. If not I'll look into the other options.
I really appreciate everyones assistance.
Anyone have any other options?
I have some PC speakers I wasn't using hooked up to my TV and I'm looking for a device to put in between the speakers and the TV to control the volume via remote control.
Does such a device exist?
Thanks
I have to say that I prefer to use local shops over gamestop etc. I enjoy their stores so I support them and Most of the time I prefer not to deal with some of the hassles that come with selling online.
Some of my friends live in the same apartment building as myself and my fiance.
To save some cash I would like to piggy back off of their wireless connection. The problem is that the signal is only strong enough to be used in one of the rooms of our apartment.
What I would like to do is set...
I've thought about gamefly, but for some reason I like to own the games I play. Maybe I like to collect games .... or maybe I'm terrible with Money, one of the two. I heard the game just feels like its 50% done, that was early on before patches though.
I would play if you were playing COD4:MW, I still pick it up once in a while. I heard W@W isn't that great so I never picked it up. If you have an extra copy you could send it my way :)
Very cool, My GF is slowely getting more into gaming. She has always been addicted to the sims and enjoys Lego Star Wars, but has never really gotten into anything else. We looked at some DS's and she found a bunch of games that she is interested in so we will hopefuly be picking one up soon :)
Make sure that both of you have the same version of the game, possibly one of you has a patch installed that the other does not or different versions of retail. My friends and I have run into this multiple times.
I'm looking to purchase a Blu-Ray Drive for my PC. What I would like to do is point TVersity to the BR drive then stream to my xbox 360 and watch on my HDTV. Has anyone had experience with this? I'm trying to find out if this is even a possibility.
Thanks
PC or 360 is a good choice, I actualy own it on both. (picked it up for cheap on 360) and I would say that both are comparable unless you are really into using user created stuff. Hope you enjoy the game :)
