    ^I think I've seen June 16 as the launch date. Hopefully, we'll start to see some reviews in the next week or so. I'm upgrading from my old i7-3770k so looking forward to doing this system refresh in a few weeks. I ordered a 3300x to get me through until Zen 3 comes out.

    I bought a 7800 GS yesterday and when I installed it, it didn't work. I took that as a sign to screw paying $350 right now for the card, get a 6800 GS, and wait to upgrade everything 8-12 months from now.

    NVidia 7800 GS AGP

    A 7800 GS over a 9800 Pro (my current card) is fine for me. $350 is a bit expensive but not as bad as having to upgrade CPU and mobo along with the video card. This will do fine for me (I just bought it at Best Buy) for the next year. If can get around $100 for it next year when I'm upgrading...

    I have this same exact monitor and have the same sentiments when it comes to getting an LCD. I want a screen size that's at least bigger than the 19" Sony. Maybe Zebo will be my hero and sell me one of his Diamondtrons.

    AGP 7800GS

    I'm thinking a $200 purchase now makes more sense than a $300-350 in a week or two, when I'll probably upgrade to a $400 or $500 card a year from now. I think the 6800 GS should be good for now although I'll probably be avoiding these boards for awhile in case buyer's remorse sets in...

    I'm still undecided about what to do. My BFG 6800 GS arrives today, but I'm thinking about selling it (damn 15% restocking fee on returns) and waiting for the 7800 GS. I'll definitely be upgrading my whole system next year (possibly end of this year, depending on what's out there). Any advice...

    $350 is worth it to me now, although I would like to see some actual benchmarks for this AGP. I may sound stubborn but my 3.4 GHz Northwood still seems like too good of a CPU to give up just yet (even though it's almost 2 years old). I want to see what new tech will be out over the next year...

    I have a 9800 Pro right now, but my BFG 6800 GS should arrive tomorrow afternoon. I'm still using AGP and if the 7800 GS comes out I may sell the 6800 GS and pick up the 7800. I'm gonna upgrade everything in 2007.

    nvidia 7800 gs agp

    I have a P4 3.4 GHz and 1 GB RAM (about to upgrade to 2) . I'll gladly do a $300 upgrade now and upgrade everything sometime next year when newer tech comes along. This Radeon 9800 Pro has gots to go.
