iPhone 4 (non-S) is getting really hot and burning me...

Yea either try kill all the apps or it is the battery that is having problems. Check with an Apple store if it is really "hot", they'll be more than willingly replace it if there is a battery issue. PS - plz don't put it beside your face if it is that "hot", u dunno if it is gonna explode =_="

Wow, I was unprepared for just how crappy Lenovo LCDs are....

I had never been impressed with the ThinkPad's LCD screens since they Lenovo had taken over the product line. A week ago I had a chance to compare a T4x (from IBM) with the newer T6x (from lenovo) side by side... the view angle and contrast ratio was clearly much better on the T4x in my eyes...

Need an opinion on the Thinkpad L412

This year, L series is the renamed SL series, R series had been retied and the Edge series is added. If budget allows, go for the real ThinkPad... the T series. Else, the L series that you have listed there is good.

Lenovo T61 Shuts Off Randomly

Try isolate the problem by determining whether if the battery is causing the issue. Take out the battery while plugged in to see if it still shuts off randomly. If not, run some system stress tests on the CPU and memory system.

New notebook advice

i3 with on-board video since you don't game. You'll be happier with the longer battery life and cooler laptop. Since you'd confirmed that GMA 4500 supports flash acceleration that's just one less reason to go with dedicated graphic card. It'll offload CPU cycles... and you'll be happy with your i3.

Chrome for linux stinks

Which netbook screen is better: Asus or Acer?

Check out Anandtech's reivews on notebook LCD screens. The 1005HA (w/ the last generation Atom CPU) has a beautiful LCD screen with a contrast radio of over 1000:1.

Chrome for linux stinks

Chrome is much more stable for me under Ubuntu compared to Firefox... it also feels faster. There are still many areas that Chrome can be improved, but the fact that it is solid convinced me to switch over.

Can you try reset the BIOS and turn on the settings for performing full diagnose testing on bootup? On top of that, try take out the hard drive as it is not needed at this moment.

There isn't any other ways. I normally just setup breakpoints before I call a function using 'b LINENUMBER' or 'b FUNCTION'. 'b filename:lineNum' is functioning as expected here.

I understand why to separate the functions from a .h to a .cpp file. Just curious, if I don't declare inline on my functions there won't be any paste in effects right? And I just found out the syntax to setup the breakpoints on a .h file. b CLASSNAME.h:LINE_NUMBER

Thanks for replies. I don't understand though, I have multiple classes, shouldn't it make sense for me to separate them for management purposes? I usually have the source file storing just the main function. Visual studio's debugger seems to be a lot more powerful and user friendly to me =)...

I simply want to debug a function from another class which resides on a header file. With GDB I can setup breakpoints on the .cpp file using 'br #' after loading the file with 'file XXX'... but I cannot find information on how to specify the breakpoint on a header file.

Playing around the registry keys probably won't help since the program isn't even communicating with the internet. It is hard to believe that firewall plays a role here since port 80 is used to HTTP traffic. I am guessing that there is a high possibility that my router... which is flashed...

Yes you do. As I had mentioned before, the original 3.90 M33 firmware does not support the 1.50 kernel right out of the box.

You'll notice that your games won't run even if you place them under the folder, Game 150, without the 1.50 add-on. That 1.50 add-on is not specifically written for 3.90 M33, but it is compatible with it. If I recall correctly the add-on drops the Korean font and a rarely used feature.

You won't lose anything with custom firmware as far as I'd experienced with my fat PSP. In your case, you'll have to upgrade your PSP from 3.03 OE-A to 3.52 M33-4, and then upgrade to 3.90 M33-2. After that, patch your firmware with the 1.50 add-on files for 1.50 homebrew support. Emulators...
