Alright. I change out to 2666 ram. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9k2R2R How would I check the motherboard-RAM compatibility? PC Part picker shows no issues with this build. Someone mentioned that this GPU only has 1 fan and would be hot/noisy... would this still be the best GPU to get?

Yea I might need to do that. Everyone has suggested that card =) I have 2 monitors that are the 27" and one is 24". They all run the same resolution if that matters as much. The ports are all 3 VGA but the 2 27's can be HDMI or DVI as well. The 24" is VGA or DVI. However, I do have adapters...

Well I'm crashing 3-4 times a night on my current card and it's driving me crazy. Do the prices of the old cards go way down once the new ones come out? I don't really want to get a brand new card because they are usually pricey!

Ya, I've narrowed it down to their punkbuster program. If I go on a server that uses it, I crash after 10-20 mins. I played today on a non punkbuster for about an hour today and no crash. So I'll write it off as that if I don't see it again =P

Pics of what? My fan's weren't working on my cooler. I unplugged everything and redid it, and now the fans work, and so far so good. I ran intelburntest at maximum load for 5 times and it ran fine, got up to 68ºC so I figure thats good.

Thanks for all your responses guys! Like I said before though, he only wants 1 monitor, 1 graphics card. Other than that, I'll give him your recommendations so far and see if he likes that. Hes really looking at ibuypower.com though, so I'll tell him about the bad experience you had.

He only plays on 1 monitor, and doesn't want to use 2 monitors or more. He will never buy a mac. He's very stubborn about stuff, and doesn't budge at all. If stuff fails, he wants a warranty so he can just send it back and get it fixed. The SLI video cards burned out after his warranty was up...

How did I "cheap out" where it mattered? I got the ram that I thought was going to be good for a really good deal. I upgraded the CPU/GPU/SSD because I did have the extra budget. I got a bigger power supply even though I might not need it. So where did I exactly "cheap out"?

I'm still $100 under budget... I wasn't worried with saving money, I had a budget that I planned on spending, and I got within $100 of it. And I've talked to numerous people that told me that the ram will work.
