Looks like I won't be getting SSFIV AE. Edit: they reversed it.

Limiting offline play to only 15 characters is bad enough for me, and I'm certain it's even more frustrating for those who want to give challenge mode a run in times where their internet connection is down if they can't save their progress. Personally, if I can't connect to the net or to GFWL...

Taunting doesn't happen too much in my experience, and I don't find it as annoying as I used to. I figure, let them taunt while I figure out their game. Endless battles are a great way since you can spectate people or play 'em frequently, and it's pretty satisfying coming back to beat someone...

Sports game let down blues

I didn't mind buying sports games every year so long as I had others to play with. I bought Madden every year from 2002 to 2008, mainly because I had friends and roommates I could play a franchise with or challenge online. That kept the game fun, but over time they find other games, roommates...

The PS3 version came out today as well. I just got done playing Miami vs. OSU and Oklahoma vs. Texas so I could unlock those uniforms to use when the game is out. I agree with you on both counts. The graphics are great, and the gameplay is familiar to me.

Soy milk is good - what do you think about it?

4870 X2 pics

Can't wait to see the reviews on this. Certainly the 4850 and 4870 have fared well in reviews so far, and I think the X2 will deliver another card that performs well for its price. I'm just curious to see how AMD's X2 card will compare to Nvidia's X2 card.

What is the most depressing moment in sports

That was a heck of a game, but it wasn't too depressing for me since I really wasn't expecting the Bulldogs to hang with the Trojans. The really depressing part came afterwards when Fresno State lost the rest of their games that season, and the following season wasn't so great either :(

Gates: Windows 7 may come 'in the next year'.

I don't remember much about Windows OS's before Windows '98, but I'm certain the time period in between OS releases then up until XP was 2-3 years, so if Microsoft went back to that schedule it could be possible to see Windows 7 in some form next year. Maybe not a retail release, perhaps some...

I'm now 6-0, 1st place in my FFL, thanks in large part to Tom Brady. Obviously this week was quite a good one with Brady tossing five TDs, and it also helped that Tomlinson had a breakout performance this season against the Raiders :D

Bah! I can't stand this guy!

I still hold out hope for the Pat Summerall/John Madden duo to make a comeback :P Anyhow, Tirico isn't too bad. If anything, getting Jaws in there in place of Theismann has made listening to the MNF crew bearable. I usually have the radio team of Alberts and Esiason on while watching the game.
