ATI 1900 Series, Which one is the best

From all the posts I have seen, there is actually only 2 cards, the 1900 XT/XTX and the 1900 Crossfire version. It looks like the XT is simply an underclocked XTX (identical card with a different bios flash)

Bit-Tech does an X1900 roundup: AIW vs. XT vs. XTX vs. 512 GTX

My 1900XT runs at 81C under 100% load with the fan stepped to 36% from it's idle 51C / 27%. I do hear the fan step up a bit with no audio running, I guess it's all in the ear of the beholder ... With audio running, I don't hear it at all. Sure I can use ATITool to kick it to 100% RPM and...

ATI 1900XT chirping and squeaking?! NOW FIXED

450 Watt ps sounds pretty small ... could be squealing cause it's unhappy.

Seeking Advice on Dual Monitor or Widescreen

I was dual: 19" Sony normal + 23" Apple widescreen I ended up getting rid of the sony due to constant headaches from looking back and forth between the two ... If you want to go with 2 monitors, match them *exactly* to avoid eye problems. Another thing I will note, with the 23" monitor...

Another GPU decision: 7800GT or X1900XT?

Buy whatever you want but make sure it supports Dual-Link DVI (not two DVI connectors) in case you upgrade to a high res panel down the road ... you don't want to find out *then* that your card doesn't support it.

X1900 problems. Drivers? Incompatabilities?

Rock solid stable AMD FX60 + OC's 2 Gig Plat PC3200 + Enermax Liberty 620W + Sapphire X1900 XT + Asus A8N32-SLI (don't ask why this mb - rolling eyes)

Dell UltraSharp Widescreen 3007WFP ???

Looking for any reviews / comments ... At $2,299 CDN with 3 Year Advance Exchange Service it seems awfully tempting. I have an 23" (1920x1200) Apple LCD now but it is one of the earlier generation of large LCD panels and doesn't really keep up.

Big thanks! Now the cool part is after installing, it thinks my Sapphire X1900 XT is now a ATI X1900 XTX ... gotta love that! I assume the real release will set me back down to the XT level. 3DMark05 of 11163
