No I dont think you know what you're talking about. I would take my Koss KSC35s over my Sony MDR-V6s anyday.
KSC35/75s are exceptional and can rival anything under $100.00 unamped.
Unless you have a FX60+ or a C2D, this FX55 is going to produce faster FPS than whatever dualcore CPU you have. Barring the 2 or 3 games that take advantage of multithreading.
If tallman wants the best performance, then he shouldnt be looking at the FX55 or AMD dual core.
