I'm pretty sure I have good air flow. My GPU runs fantastic IMO gtx 560 ti 448 at 975mhz core and 2100mhz mem for 60c load. My load temps on my i7-870 stock is like 55c which is also decent but I feel it is a limitation to the performance of a 3 year old H50.

So I have come to find out that I can get not only the CCNA but Sec+, MCITP Client, MCITP server, and if I want a+ and net+ along with an associates degree in under a year.

The USB controller in the enclosure could be bad or the controller on the drive itself is bad. I don't think a bad partition would cause a system lockup, only errors or bad data coming back from a bad controller.
