you got to remember though that the price that evga sets for the new cards that come out is the msrp price, not a price you might find at newegg, clubit or other popular online stores. if nvidia puts the msrp at $599 it won't matter if you wait 2 months and 2 weeks and the price of a 9800gtx...

HDTV recommendation

i just purchased this tv yesterday. it came out to $895 total with tax and shipping to illinois. i am also returning a dell 2407 monitor i bought a month ago from costco for $717. so really i'm getting to upgrade from 24" to 37" for $180 :) yay!

Core 2 Duo e6400 or AMD 64 X2 4600+ ??

i got an e6400 + asus p5b deluxe i put it together, went into the bios, set fsb to 400 straight away, set vcore to 1.325. and boom i had 3.2 ghz overclock stable. if i had better memory i'd try to go for 450 and 3.6. i actually havent tried anything about 400 fsb cuz im happy with my 3.2...

Dead/stuck pixel poll

i just got my dell 2405 2 days ago. when i turned it on and checked it out i found 2 dead pixels. yesterday as i was turning off the monitor to goto sleep i found out the 2 dead pixels were actually 2 specks of dirt. lol i just scratched it off and apparently i have 0 dead pixels. :)...

vista compliant basically means in ur case hdcp compliant. hdcp is for viewing high def media, like hd dvd or blu ray. so if watching hd videos is important to you, get a widescreen LCD. the Dell 2007 and 2407 are coming out sometime this month. id recommend you get one of those...
