Geforce 7600 XXX

Not IMO- lower clock (out of box), add $4.69 ship and doesnt include GRAW- nice deal OP. Granted, not necessarily as good support as eVGA... Very tempted to get for system I am building- anyone know of the power requirements?

whatcha think of this midrange barebones?

Please let me know your thoughts on this mid-range barebones system. Thinking of going with Monarch... will be used for gaming, and photo editing, among other purposes. I'll need to throw in 2GB ram, some big HDs, prob go with 7600GT (later SLI), DVD-RW, etc. They have limited choices on CPU...

How long will it be before the Radeon 9800Pro will be at $150?

Anyone running the 9800 pro with 250w PSU? I have an older Dell 4550, and dont want to mess with changing PSU. Was thinking about going with 9600xt, but know 9800 pro is much faster...

tech specs doesnt list CAS latency of RAM - based no their transfer rate, I am guessing it is 2.5 - can anyone confirm? if so, makes sense just to go with 2.5 for additional stick... suggested deals on 256? thanks

update: DEAD! he who hesitates... sux...was going to order on fri. then waited... now they have a 4550 available for substantially more $$$ -big rip. anyone have a report on the 2300? i know it only goes up to 2.0 gig at slower bus (not 533) , also integrated video...easy to turn off??? other...

Help diagnose this...?

Trying to diagnose problem(s). System frequently becomes unstable, freezes, or reboots. (i have already given up on unrecognized USB problem- will be using PCI-USB 2.0 card) Unsure if MOBO is bad- but didnt want to rip it out and send back to Abit...bought from TranscendPC before those fokkers...

VIA chipset drivers- wont install...

I am trying to get my usb hubs working on kt7raid mobo... (See my post below "kt7 and usb" for more...) on reinstall of 4in1 driver, (win98se) recognized new cpu-pci bridge and usb-pci, but then when asks for driver to install, forces me to c:/windows/inf folder... i get the feeling it is not...

USB gone bad? -Help!

I read about USB probs with the KT-7 MoBo, but hadnt experienced them until now. My system has had lockup probs all along. Not sure if from my Geforce2mx card or not. But after forced reboot after a freeze, all of a sudden, my usb ports are not being recognized. No problems with this...
