Help; Can't remove Epox 9NPA+ Chipset heatsink

It's not too hard to do. I did it on my Epox board in about half an hour. There really is no reason to replace that heatsink though, it makes no audible noise. Well at least on mine it didn't. I got a Zalman passive cooler and I notice no difference whatsoever.

Anyone know what temperature sensor3 is? Speedfan is telling me it's between 75C and 85C! It's not the Northbridge though because I've replaced it with a Zalman passive heatsink and then put a fan directly on it and the temperature range wasn't any different. Is it possible it's just a bad...

3pin to 4pin converter for CPU fan?

3pin to 4pin converter for CPU fan?

Do you have an Epox? I have an NPA3Ultra or whatever and it has 4 pins and says the same thing. The first 2 pins are + and -, the third is speed reading and the 4th is speed control. It's not possible for an adapter to exist for this. I picked up an Alpine 7 for use on my Athlon 64 3000+...

Beats me. Anyway, that's what EPoX told me and I checked the manual before any and they showed what each of the 4 pins did. I think I'll just buy another quieter HSF and stick it in since I couldn't find any good 4 pin ones.
