Sorry but I don't see how OC'ing and me not wasting money has anything to do with each other. I rarely OC simply for the fact that I don't like OCing unless it's bulletproff and it's something OCing rarely is.

As I say I don't OC and as far as I can see my production CPU isn't exactly one of the winners. I have crancked it up to a little above 2,5Ghz which isn't worth a while. So when You say stick with my current CPU u say that I don't get much performance by bying a new system or?

One thing I hate is driver-issues and it seems to be a mjor problem in regards to the Radeon.

I will surely go for Radeon 9800 Pro, which seems to be the right choice. I will not buy the new 68 from NV even though it hits hard on frames :P I simple don't have the right cash for that. Tx very much btw ;)
I dl'ed it and installed OO which seems as good as Windows Office, but one thing I noticed was a lower quality in pictures pasted in to Open Office. Anybody have that experience too? and perhaps a solution too to make that better in OO?
I did not notice huge improvements but in general things work more smoothly and loads faster too. I turned off paging so now all is stored in memory which makes my system rather fast imho :) Games are also a bit faster but it depends on your current needs and power in the machine :P
