I have just found out that the multiplier isnt a problem when I have enabled my keyboard to "Allow this device to wake up from standby". The only thing is just that it cant be enabled because I then get this error: "HID keyboard device is preventing the machine from entering standby". I have...

Thanks for your quick reply. I forgot to mention that I run it on a Asus P4GPL-X Motherboard with a 479CT-adapter. I mean that Speedstep only works on laptops. If it should be speedstep it would kick in also when I start it in normal mode (total rebote) which isn't happening.

I run a Pentium M processor at 16x126 FSB = 2016 MHz in WinXP. The problem is when I resume it from standby, then the config (CPUz) only is 6x126 = 756 Mhz! Whats the problem?

Thanks for your reply about the heatsink. I know that the temperature is a bit hot a 1.2Ghz. I do in fact think that I did use another heatsink than Zalman 7000. Maybe it didn't make a good contact with the cpu.

I was wondering if it is the BSEL1 pin or the BSEL0 pin that I have to break. I have broken the BSEL1 pin to make the FSB run at 200. Should I instead have broken the BSEL0 pin? Is it possible to break both?

Problem with P4M Processor

With "intel CPU (SL6VB) 2.2 Ghz Mobil pentium 4 M" as I wrote I mean a Pentium 4 M and NOT a Pentium M. Wthe metode I used when I broke the pin was to bend it forward and backward until it broke. I didnt used a wire-clipper.
