Windows XP home logging off instantly when you log on? virus?

my friends PC which is running win XP, probably without any of the service packs or patches has developed a weird problem where when you log in by clicking on any of the icons for usernames it instantly logs you out. it shows the "loading profile.." text, then the instant it gets to the desktop...

NT4 server admin user profile permissions problem

hi there, we run an NT 4 domain here at work, its got the latest service packs and anti virus software etc on the primary server. we then have all the clients running w2000 SP3. recently we have had to delete ~100 users from the userlist. but some were not deleting, looking into the problem...

What Drivers in Win2000 for SB PCI 64V?

hello the default sound drivers for my Creative Sound Blaster Audio PCI 64V make crackling noises in the treble. I cant find any drivers on the Creative or Dell site and i tried some of the NT ones aswell but they wouldn't work at all, any help appreciated.

well me and my mate made the site. He wrote it by hand in notepad but i tided it up by using Macromedia Dreamweaver, its a great program, writes really clean code. The images were made and manipulated in Adobe Photoshop 5.0.

So People Gimme The Scoop On How Was Your 700e either Cb0 Or Cc0 ?

CBO, Phillipeans, didn't check week sorry. @ 933 default voltage (1.65) stable. Runs at 1 gig at 1.80 totally stable but my AGP would run at 2x not 4x becuase my CUSL2 does that automatically over 140 FSB, im after a win2k hack to stop this. brought from overclockers.co.uk

Need a new CPU, Intel 700e or 800e?

i got a CBO 700e that did 933 out of box on default voltage, and is running now at 1000 on 1.80, heat is good quite low considering. Only on air cooling, (FOP 38) i'll keep u posted :-)

im guessing heat is the last possible problem or Half-Life its self. As mentioned in another post Half-Life is really still a very buggy program especially in the Video and Sound department. Try some other older drivers, or Direct X 8 upgrade, or downgrade to 7. Also make sure your processor...
