Possible PSU Problem?

I'm in the UK so no newegg for me! Thanks though. I want to get this sorted before Spore comes out on Friday so I actually ordered from Amazon.co.uk. I paid way over the odds for it but it's guranteed to be delivered this evening when I get home from work.

any news on the 2407?

So most reports from Australia and Japan where the monitor is now on sale say that there are significant problems with the 2407 such as blurred text and colour banding. I've heard that it's been delayed for another 3-4 weeks too so I ended up going for the 2405 instead.

Best Price UK 7900GT?

Thats what I did. I couldn't find them in stock in the UK, so I bought my evga 7900 GTX cards from the States on eBay. Didn't cost any more than the UK prices even including shipping.

3M Precise Mousing Surface - mouse pad

Another thumbs up from me. The surface is great and they grip the table really well too so don't slide about when things get a bit hectic. If I had one complaint it would be that they could be a bit bigger.

As you probably know, the P180 sites the PSU at the bottom of the case which means that you have to make sure the PSU cables are long enough to reach the components at the top, especially the ATX power cable. Each combination of psu and motherboard has different requirements so it makes it a bit...

Is Oblivion on its path to become a killer application?

I'm building a whole new system for Oblivion. It's almost four years since my last system build though so it's time for an upgrade anyway. I'm just lucky that when I'm planning to build it in June I'll have plenty of cash to spend on it and two months off to make the most of it.

Hehe, yeah in theory but I'm more concerned with practice. Until it's been tried, who knows if they've extended the cables enough? I'd give it a go myself but I can't find any UK etailers offering the new PSU.

Is the 3007 worth getting for gaming

I think the assumption is that you would sit further away from such a large screen so any ghosting would not be as noticable. Personally, I've ruled out such a large screen because, as others have already mentioned, it would just take too much hardware to drive it with acceptable image quality.
