Tried a Vcore of 1.32v and UltraHigh for Loadline calibration and the CPU temps during XLin reached 73-74C temporarily with the temps hovering around high 60s. In XLin should the number of threads be 4 or 8?

On the first page of the UEFI it is showing a RPM of 12982RPM. CPU Q-Fan Control is enabled and CPU Fan Profile is Standard.
During testing it was about 25C or so. One other thing is that the cooler is a 3 pin plug on it while the motherboard CPU connector is 4 pin. I am not using the 4th pin for the cooler but that just means the cooler is running in high fan speed all the time correct?

I used to use Gigabyte but soured on them when I had problems with 3 of their motherboards last year. One was had a buggy BIOS which Gigabyte refused to acknowlege was their problem even though others where having the same problem.
Regarding the memory are you saying cut it down to 4GB of RAM? I am in Canada and due to past experience would prefer not to use Newegg.ca for product.

Problem these days hard drives are a commodity. All brands have problem models. Getting a WD black drive is not a guarantee that it will not fail. I have had problems with Seagate, WD and now apparently Hitachi.
I ran the fitness test short and long and it passed. During the test the drive was a lot quieter than when it was idle!
The drive makes the noise even with the SATA cable disconnected. I can return the hard drive and they will test the drive like I did and then charge me a 15% restocking fee...

Puchased a Hitachi 7K1000.C internal hard drive and idling with no partitions on it and no other actvity on the computer there is a noticable noise coming from the drive. One can also feel the drive apparently seeking / vibrating.
Since the drive is new I can return it to the online reseller...
Went resuming out of sleep I get the normal windows screen saying account is locked however some of the icons on the desktop are showing through or when I click on the Username on that screen and the normal desktop loads I wind up with either a totally unreadable screen or pixelation.
