What is a wedding for an athiest couple like?

Married athiest couple here. We had a judge perform the ceremony and it was in an outdoor reception area, not a church. Just like a normal wedding I guess - we just had no mention of god or any of that stuff. I guess the one difference is that we started serving drinks before the ceremony...

Is 30 to old to go back to college?

My dad went back to college to get his masters after he retired at 65. He loved it. You can never be too old for college to learn. If you are going back to college to postpone having to enter the real world, well, that is something else entirely.

Well, the work servers are worth more than I make in a year, but I probably get better FPS on Quake IV on my home computer.

Actually if you really look at it - the prohibition, age 21 limit, blue state laws, etc. You would realize that these rules are based on things that have nothing to do with promoting safety.

I hate alcohol

Save the shots for the cheap tequila. Good vodka is to be sipped very cold. Although Grey Goose being good Vodka is questionable :) Grey Goose is the Bose of the Vodka industry - you are paying for their marketing. Sadly, my favorite Vodka seems to have lost their US distibutor. Wyborowa.

Selling my home, offering $ to another seller in my neighborhood to turn away a buyer

This is the worst advice I have ever seen. Pay debt with more debt at a higher rate? This ranks up there along with using a HELOC to pay for a car (you'll be paying for that car over 30 years). If your house isn't selling, then you are asking too much. This isn't 2005.

2007 Impreza WRX STi (Limited) - Subaru finally gets a clue

Upscale... ehhh doesn't seem right for a Subaru. Everything that they are doing lately makes me want to hold on to my 02 wrx wagon for even longer.

Here in Orange county, this kind of thing is common. I have a 30 year old friend who is married with a baby, working on another and both he and the wife do not work. They still live off their folks. They are happy and seem to have no desire or need to work. There are several people here...

Your next car purchase...realistically.

Current - 2002 WRX wagon Future - 2002 WRX wagon... I just don't see me getting any other car ever. The wagon is the most practical yet sporty car around and nothing compares. If my car was totalled or stolen, I would just buy another of the same.

Loving the game so far, even though I disliked Morrowind. AMD X2 3800, 7800GT, 2GB ram. It autodetected ultra high quality at 1024x768. Bumped it up to 1680x1050 and it still runs great. This is the first game ever that my wife has commented on about the graphics (she hates games). She said...

Observation: Volvo S40 > Infiniti G35...

Volvos have amazing sound systems. We have a 1995 850 turbo and I have yet to hear a better stock sound system in any car. It will be a sad day when we have to replace our volvo. We love it that much.
