System troubleshooting

it sounds like a heat issue with the processor. I would check to see that there is a proper fan on the processor, and that there is sufficient thermal paste. I think you might have checked everything but that. When you reboot after it freezes go into the bios quickly and check the processor...

yeah, case temp is your problem. What is your room temp? Its easy to see that your processor would be 111 if your case temp is 98.

sounds like with a name like kmixer.sys that its a sound card problem. Seeing as you have an onboard sound card I would try to reinstall it with the latest drivers.

No sound from ProMedia 5.1 Center Channel

it is possible that a virus is hanging out in your MBR, but like said above, I would check the bios first and make sure that the drives show up in the bios, and when the computer boots.

1 Gig Tbird wont boot into windows at 1000mhz but will at 750?

Lite on max burn speed not reported correctly with Nero

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Nero...that fixed it. Now myself and my new burner can live a long and happy life.
