Left lane exit. Rural areas, I agree with you. Inner city, your argument doesn't hold up unless you can point me to a law that defines exactly when someone doing the posted speed limit is allowed to enter the left lane to exit.

I rarely see someone holding up the left lane driving under the speed limit. Around here, pretty much everyone does 5 over. The retards that are "impeded" usually want to go 10-15-20 mph over the limit. Forgive me if I do not seem to care that they are momentarily inconvenienced.

Thank you for the offer, but it's not necessary. I went ahead and ordered the 5570 as I think that is a fantastic deal. Several posters seem confident I will see an fps boost, and even if I don't it's nice to have an extra video card around. For $30 it's a win/win, there is no lose in this...

DAoC is surviving, barely. Been playing for 10 years, and I always come back to this game. Realizing it's not going to be around forever and, to me, there just isn't anything that compares. Makes me sad.

It's not. You may have missed my second post, but no problem. I get 20-25 fps in a single game. If spending $30 on a video card gets me 40 fps or possibly more, then why not? It's only $30. And you guys are right, I should've mentioned I have PCI-E in my original post. Definitely...

It's PCIe. In asking for recommendations I should have definitely mentioned it, but I was more interested in if my cpu is currently bottlenecking my video card. There are only two scenarios here. A.)CPU is a bottleneck, and upgrading my video card won't affect fps. or B.)CPU is not...

You aren't understanding. My computer is fine for what I use it for. 20-25 fps in the 1 video game I occasionally play is acceptable to me. The ONLY thing I'm interested in is if I will see a boost in performance by "upgrading" to a newer, entry-level card.

Currently using a 128MB GeForce 7300 LE. Would it be worth it to upgrade to a more recent entry-level offering, or am I already bottlenecked by my processor? The 7300 is sufficient for my needs but just barely. If $50 for a newer video card will give me better performance I figure, why not...

I'm already stepping up. My original plan was to buy an HD 4670 or GT 240. :) Cheapest 5770 on Newegg is $137 after MIR. The 5750 I was looking at is $113 after MIR. But besides that, you think my PSU is enough to run a 5770?

You should also consider the Toshiba Satellite T115D-S1125 and MSI Wind12 U230-040US. Both use an AMD Athlon Neo X2(better than Atom), and come with a better gpu than anything from Intel. The Toshiba can be had for $438 from tigerdirect.com after Bing cashback.
