DDR400 running as DDR320??

On this old box, i have a p4 3.2 ghz CPU on a Intel D865PERL motherboard... i had 1gb (2x512mb) of PC3200 DDR400 RAM installed (1st and 3rd slots), and the intel active monitor app showed its speed at DDR400, which is fine... i recently installed another 1gb (2x512mb) of PC3200 DDR400...

Dell 2407 MAY have some issues...

It's true that the few initial reports out of Australia and Japan were bad news for people who wanted the 2407, but as is the way with revisions on hardware, things may be looking up...I've been following the firmware update on the A00 panels ---->http://techanovitas.blogspot.com/ revision...

Dell 2407 MAY have some issues...

if the 2405, after all its revisions, gets down to 500 USD i might grab one...500 for a 24'' lcd is too good to pass up...but HDCP will continue to bother me...as i've said before, if i'm going to shell out the cash for an LCD, just the IDEA that's it's capable of doing something but it's...

Dell 2407 MAY have some issues...

Japanese customers have gotten the first Dell 2407 monitors in and are posting some reviews...I've included info over at my blog (http://techanovitas.blogspot.com)) along with links illustrating some potentially disturbing issues... mainly, color banding, poor text display, and image quality...

Dell 2407FPW

the 2407 is HDCP compliant...i'm just hoping this HDCP thing doesn't get as out of control as it already seems to be...i understand studios want content protection, but SERIOUSLY, after this NONSENSE with video cards advertising HDCP compliance yet NOT REALLY BEING COMPLIANT on the "board...
