can't suspend with Win98SE ICS installed?

i can't suspend my win98se computer that is sharing the internet via MS ICS, i get a message that tells me some program or hardware driver doesn't allow me to suspend try closing all programs, i've uninstalled ICS and suspend worked again, what could i do? any way to allow suspend mode with out...

get any geforce2mx, at 800x600 it'll not make any diference to have an ultra or pay 500 bucks for a geforce3. those cards are really cheap and they have great performance, at 800x600 the cpu will be the limiting factor but you'll not have that problem with your current config.Text

is there any way to fix this? the problem is the clap, i've tested the monitor on my other box, and it doesn't have this problem (nvidia vanta 16mb) also if i replace the clap drivers with generic pci vga adapter it looks well too so i think maybe some specific driver version can fix it. also...

Is ISDN worth it??

yes ISDN it's a great choice im stuck with ISDN as you and it's way faster than an analog modem, 'cause it's digital you'll allways connect at that speed, online games run very well 'cause of the low ping rates, etc. i configured it to use only one B channel so most of the time it's 64kb only...

please help me setup win2000 ICS client!!!

finaly it's working (i puted ICS server's ip on the dns, and getaway, fields on tcp/ip propiertys for my NIC on the win2000 box) but only if the ICS server is alredy on the net, so how could i make it call automatically when a client wants to acces the internet?

a hardware solution is the best choice but not for everyone, for example i have an isdn serial modem, and here in México is almost imposible to get an ISDN lan modem (the only computer store i've founded where i can buy it doesn't have it in stock rigth now, and it's about ¡800 bucks...

Does FREESCO require a hub in order to function?

maybe it'll work without a hub but you'll need crossover cables if you're going to plug the machines directly to freesco router NIC's.
