I am having a blast. Only problem is that the "Quick Match" feature puts you in servers with bots and sometimes 1 other player. Have to use the browser to find one worth playing in.

I always just grab a screw drive and pop the left windows key off of any new keyboard I get. Looks a bit ratty but its better than getting pwned while you suddenly get alt-tabbed. The right windows key doesn't get in my way ever.

Absolutely wrong. If your card has enough frame buffer etc moving from 1440*900 too 1920*1080 will have little effect in most games. Once you go up to 2048x thats when the High res starts taking its toll on modern cards. 1600x + isnt hard at all for cards these days.
I am having trouble with a yellow tint from one of my DVI ports on my 3870. For years now I have had the card running and LCD monitor and my 42" HDTV for watching movies.

Man that would rock if Rome Total war would play on this thing. The battles would be a little cumbersome on the touchpad but damn I love that game. Will have to give it a try.

Hmmm we are getting crashes in nearly all games tested about 5-8 minutes in. Crysis, HL2, and Wow. GPU-Z shows all the cores and the performance is better but we cant figure out the crashing. Thinking its an issue with the modified BIOS we made. Trying to fix it. Possible false alarm.

Wonderful news! With a little help from my EE friend we were able to unlock my 5850 to the full core / texture unit count of the 5870!

I think I could adjust to fastest. The problem is the two guys I always play with only play normal so when I go play fastest it throws me off in the normal speed matches that I hate to lose against my buddies.
Maybe I will just try to convince them to do fastest so that I can enjoy battle.net.
Everyone used to play at normal or Fast back in 1999 or when ever that was. But that was probably because so many peoples computers could barely run the game at Normal...
