    It sure seems to me as if my mouse is sort of "jumpy." I am not sure why. I find it unusually bothersome when the cursor and mouse either lag too much or the cursor seems to jump around. I am not sure if it is a problem with the surface I am using, or if I somehow changed the mouse settings...

    I agree basically. Here, it was very difficult to tell where the problem existed - TV, Comcast, wiring, receiver, set-up. It is not as if I bought something and mis-handled it, and then returned it. Also, it worked initially. I think the HDMI jack is loose in the back.
