Stock voltage on mine is .981V, with a max OC of ~930MHz. At 1.08 the max is 1036MHz. I Just ran OCCT again, and the GPU temp reached 72C. Max on both VRMs was 70C according to GPU-Z.
I'll probably just accept this as bad luck, but receiving what I suspect is an open box card is upsetting.
It's already loud, so more voltage is not an option. I had to force the fan to 72% to keep it at 70C while running OCCT.
It runs games smoothly, just doesn't overclock well.
A warning to those interested in the Twin Frozr from Newegg- they are still shipping cards with the 7950 PCB. Mine just arrived, and it struggles to reach 1GHz at under 70C (1.081V). I suspect they sent a used card since the box was dented and the heatsink had a small scratch.
Is it worth...
According to this, it's caused by the video card not being properly seated, but that's probably not it if you saw the splash screen.
Check out Samsung MV-3V4G3D/US. It's cheap and getting a lot of good reviews. A lot are getting 2133MHz+.
The BenQ may have the lowest input lag, but several reviews mention that it has slow pixel response compared to other 120Hz monitors.
Where did you get the LG? It doesn't look like it is made anymore. I can only find refurbs.
Can you give any details? I've been considering the SA2311W, but...
I use the PS3 controller with trigger caps. The triggers are the PS3 controller's weakest point, but with the caps it is equal to the 360 IMO.
Wireless works perfectly with bluetooth, but I haven't tried any other bluetooth devices.
I just ordered the PS3 controller along with these trigger adapters for racing. The d-pad and better wireless support are why I bought it over the 360 controller.
Try 51ppycup's tutorial, mentioned earlier. He uses the Lazy Newb Pack and goes through all the basics. I got started by playing while watching the videos.

Dolphin emulator can run most Wii games and even supports the controller. Of course, you do need a decent computer to run it.
I was thinking of their use of proprietary components, such as Headshoks.

This isn't an RPG, it's an FPS. What you're supposed to do is try to win the game for your team.
It's crazy how introducing RPG elements to shooters has made people only play for stats. You're supposed to play because the gameplay itself is fun.
Yeah... that will probably fix it.
But it isn't instant, so it doesn't prevent people from switching at the end to improve their win/loss ratio. Also, autobalancing in the middle of a round will frustrate friends who are trying to stay on the same team. The multiplier gives everyone an...
They should add a multiplier to reduce points of the team with more players. So if it's 20 vs 10, they should multiply everyone's score on the larger team by 10/20.
People would change teams rather than get half of their points.

I used this guide to force my LCD to 75Hz since Powerstrip does not work with 58xx cards.
