Confirmed--Realtek Audio Codecs don't render EAX!

According to this article in Daily Tech, Realtek has been lying about it's codec supporting EAX and EAX2--it's just passing the signal without the audible positioning clues. Translation, if you're a gamer playing an EAX game with a Realtek audio solution, you're not getting the full audio...
